Translucent clay offers a whole new dimension to polymer clay canes.  Not only can you see light through it, it also creates the illusion of depth.  I’m always imagining sea creatures! In this class, we’ll make several different canes with translucent clay tinted with colors from Inktense Sticks and colored clay then use those canes to craft simple night lights.  A little piercing is fun too.

Our class night lights will be very simple, but I bet some of you will figure out how to embellish them with a bit of practice.
So many possibilities! While the night lights are curing, we’ll learn how to use translucent canes to make a stunning pendant.

I’ll provide the night lights and Inktense Inks.  Students should bring lots of translucent clay, a few colors of clay and the usual tools. A list will be sent to registered students. This class is appropriate for experienced beginners and those with more experience.
