Polymer clay canes are great design elements for beads, pendants, and MANY other things. In this class we will build three canes: an Asian flower, a rainy window, and a wave cane. They are all easy canes, and can be manipulated to combine or make new patterns. We will practice reducing cylindrical and square canes and learn how to make a pattern sheet with cane slices. Our project will be to cover a high quality retractable ballpoint pen, which makes an elegant addition to your desktop or a great gift. In addition, we’ll learn how to make canes into beads of several forms. The clay, tools and pen are included in the cost of this class, which is suitable for confident beginners.
