with Guest Instructor Amy Gebhardt
Saturday , Apr 22, 2017, 10:00am – 3:30pm
Amy is the maker of beautifully designed polymer clay pieces decorated with gorgeous canes. She is a master of elegantly finished work. At the request of many admirers, Amy has been persuaded to do a class for us on making mini pods, sharing techniques which she has perfected over 12 years of experimentation. Mini pods can become large hollow lentil beads, small vessels or other things (like Amy’s gorgeous lights). In the morning Amy will teach a simple cane which can be varied to be more complex, then students will use that cane to make a veneer for a mini pod. Amy will teach basic pod construction sharing tips, tricks and finishing secrets. A supply list will be sent to registered students. It’s a great opportunity to learn from an expert!
